    List of Ingredients




    1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 container ricotta cheese
    1/2 cup Italian-seasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/4 cup chopped parsley
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    to taste salt, black pepper
    18 jumbo pasta shells, cooked until almost tender, drained
    2 jars (15-1/2 oz. each) spaghetti sauce
    1/2 cup each Parmesan cheese, dry red wine

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 400ºF (200ºC). In a large skillet, brown ground beef and Italian sausage. Add onion and garlic; sautè until onin is tender; drain fat. Stir in mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, parsley, egg, salt, pepper and ricotta cheese. Fill pasta shells with meat mixture. Spoon about 1/4 spaghetti sauce over bottom of a 9x13" baking dish. Arrange shells on top of sauce. Blend wine into remaining sauce. Pour over shells. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake 20 - 25 minutes, or until bubbly. Makes 6 (3-shell) servings.
