    List of Ingredients




    2 cups self rising flour
    1/2 t. baking powder
    1/3 c shorting
    3/4 cup milk

    Recipe



    mix flour and baking powder together. cut in shorting.
    blend lightly until dough pulls away from sides.
    Turn out on lightly flour board.
    kneed 10 times. Folding each time over on its self.
    pat out 3/4 inch thick. I fiqurer about a finger high thick.
    cut out and place on cookie sheet.
    touching each other.
    bake 475 degrees ..very hot oven.
    about 12 to 15 minutes.
    makes about 9 to 10 biscuits.
