    Shrimp & Oyster Pasta in Safferon Sauce

    1 pint P & J Oysters
    15 to 20 large peeled shrimp
    1 pinch saffron
    3/4 pint heavy cream
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    3 green onions, diced
    1/2 medium tomato, cut into pieces
    1/4 cup stick butter
    1 pinch of cayenne
    1/2 package vermicelli pasta

    Recipe



    Saute butter, garlic powder, onion powder, saffron, green onions, tomatoes and cayenne on low flame for about 5 minutes.
    Stir in cream on high flame.
    Simmering until sauce thickens.
    Add oysters and shrimp to sauce together and serve.
    makes 4 large sevings.
    salt to taste.
    crawfish can be substituted for shrimpand either or all seafood can be used.
