    I tried to write this as I could think how I do it, made for so many years
    It just happens........I have always made it in a pan my daddy gave my mother
    Actually a pressure cooker with the wiggly thing that built up pressure......
    I used it for many years but now just the heavy duty bottom pan. It probably
    A good 75 years. Mine is about 10 years.

    List of Ingredients




    Beef stew meat
    1 can stew tomatoes
    stick margarine
    onion
    3/4 pkg. carrots
    3-4 potatoes
    celery
    flour
    water

    Recipe



    Beef stew meat browned in heavy pan, use stick marg.
    Cover with water and cook (boil) approx. 20 min. Add onion
    And cook a bit longer, making sure meat has plenty of water
    Covering it.
    Add can of stewed tomatoes (kinda cut or sqiuish them up)
    3/4 pkg of carrots the litle fat ones about 2" long
    3or4 potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1" pieces (chunks)
    Salt, pepper and pinch of sugar. Celery salt if I have it.
    Celery is good in it, but I rarely have it.
    Cook until veg are done then thicken it with flour and water mixed good
    (no lumps)
    That's it !!! Good with corn bread.
