    4 T. butter 2 C. milk
    1 T. grated onion 2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 T. flour 1/2 t. salt
    4 C. chicken broth 1/2 t. pepper

    Recipe




    Melt butter in saucepan. Saute onion for 5 minutes. Blend in four until smooth. Gradually add both stirring constantly until boiling point is reached. Add milk, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well. Cook over low heat until cheese is thorougly melted and soup bubbles. Stir occasionally.
