    Garlic Mashed Potatoes

    2 large potato, peeled and cut in quarters
    2 cups milk
    2 cloves (large) fresh garlic, chopped
    2 tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. each salt, pepper

    Recipe




    Cook potatoes in boiling water for 20 - 25 minutes, or until tender. Drain.
    Meanwhile, add milk and garlic to a saucepan and cook on low heat for about 25 minutes, or until garlic softens. Add milk, garlic and remaining ingredients to the potatoes.
    Mash until smooth.
    Makes 4 servings.
