Variable Chocolate Icing

6 Tbl. butter, softened
2 2/3 Cups powdered sugar
1/2 Cocoa
1/4 Cup + 1-2 Tbl. milk, divided
1 teas. vanilla
Recipe
Beat butter. Stir together sugar and cocoa. Add alternately 1/4 cup milk and vanilla. Beat to spread consistancy, add 1-2 Tbl. milk if necessary.
VARIATIONS: Add one of the following with the vanilla extract
Citrus Chocolate Frosting: 1/2 Teas. orange extract
Maple Chocolate Frosting: 1/2 Teas. Maple extract
Mint Chocolate Frosting: 1/2 Teas. mint or peppermint extract
Mocha Chocolate Frosting: 2 Teas. instant powdered coffee, dissolved in the milk
Penut Butter Chocolate Frosting: 2 Tbl. penut butter
