    1 yellow cake mix
    2 cups sliced, peeled tart apples
    ½ cup chopped nuts
    ¼ cup sugar
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 cup whipping cream

    Recipe



    Prepare cake mix as directed and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Combine the apples, nuts, sugar and cinnamon and spoon over the batter. Pour whipping cream over top of all. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until a cake tester comes out clean. Serve with ice cream of cinnamon spiced whipped cream.
