    Chocolate Chip-Coconut and Pecan Pie

    List of Ingredients




    1 (10 inch) unbaked pie crust
    2 cups sugar
    3 rounded T flour
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 stick butter melted
    1 cup half and half
    1 tsp vanilla
    3/4 cup coconut
    3/4 cup chopped pecans
    3/4 cup chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar and flour. Add eggs and melted butter. Beat until combined. Add milk and vanilla, whisk until smooth and well mixed. Spread the coconut, pecans and chocolate evenly over the bottom of the crust. Pour the milk mixture over pie. Bake 45-55 minutes until center is firm and top is golden brown.

    NOTE Original recipe called for 2 (8 inch) uybaked pie crust, 1 cup each of coconut, pecans and chocolate chips and evenly divide ingredients between the two crusts.
    I have not been able to find 8 inch pie crusts, so I adapted the recipe to a 10 inch crust.
