    German chocolate wrapper

    List of Ingredients




    1 (4oz) package German Sweet Chocolate
    ½ cup butter
    3 T. cornstarch
    2 eggs
    13 oz. can evaporated milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp vanilla
    1½ cup sugar

    Recipe



    Melt chocolate with butter over low heat. Remove from heat, gradually add milk. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Gradually blend in chocolate mixture. Pour into a 10" unbaked pie shell. Combine 1 1/3 cup coconut and ½ cup chopped pecans, sprinkle over filling.
    Bake at 375° for 45-50 minutes. Cool at least 4 hours before cutting.
