    1 box German Chocolate Cake mix
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    14 oz. bag caramels
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    ½ cup margarine

    Recipe



    Mix cake mix as directed on box. Add ½ cup sweetened condensed milk and margarine. Pour one-half of the batter in greased and floured 13x9 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven. Melt caramels and remainder of milk in double boiler. Pour over partially baked cake. Sprinkle chips and nuts over cake. Pour remainder of batter over chips and nuts. Bake an additional 30 minutes at 350°.
