Wine Cake

1 box white or yellow cake mix
1 small box jello (depending on flavor of wine)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup wine (depending on flavor of jello)
1/2 cup seedless jam (depending on flavor of wine and jello)
4 eggs
ICING
1 stick butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar
WINE GLAZE (if not using icing)
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 cup wineRecipe
CAKE
Mix jello with dry cake mix (make sure you break up the cake mix lumps) Add oil, jam and eggs. Mix well. Pour into tube or bundt pan coated with Baker's Joy. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until done. Do not overbake.
ICING
Beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add confectioners sugar and beat until fluffy.
After 10 minutes remove cake from pan and let cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting and cover.
GLAZE
While cake is baking, mix confectioners sugar and wine in heavy pan. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and let set.
When cake is done remove from the oven and pour 1/2 of the glaze over hot cake (while cake is stil in the pan) Leave cake in pan for 30 minutes. Invert cake onto cake plate and slowly pour remaining glaze over the cake. Cool and cover.
