    Coconut Angel Squares

    List of Ingredients

    1 prepared angel food cake (8 inches) cut into ½ inch cubes
    1½ cups cold milk
    2 packages (3.4 oucnes each) coconut cream instant pudding mix
    1 quart vanilla ice cream,softened
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    ¼ cup flaked coconut, toasted

    Recipe

    Place cake cubes in a greased 13x9 dish. In a mixing bowl beat milk and pudding mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Add ice cream, beat on low speed just until combined.
    Spoon over cake cubes. Spread with whipped topping, sprinkle with toasted coconut. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Refrigerate leftovers.

    Instead of coconut cream instant pudding, I prefer to use 2 package vanilla instant pudding, 1 tsp coconut flavoring and ½ to 3/4 cup coconut. It tastes more homemade.
