    List of Ingredients




    1½ pound lean ground beef
    salt to taste
    ½ can tomato sauce
    1 egg
    2 slices bread
    4 crackers
    1 medium onion (grated)
    1 medium potato (grated)
    1 carrot (grated)
    ½ cup milk

    SAUCE
    ½ can tomato sauce
    ½ can water
    ¼ cup catsup
    chopped onion
    2 T. prepared mustard
    2 T brown sugar
    2 T vinegar
    2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

    Recipe



    Dissolve bread and crackers in milk and mix with other ingredients. Form into a loaf and place in baking dish.
    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. While meatloaf is cooking prepare sauce.
    Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer while meat is cooking. Remove meatloaf from over and pour sauce over it. Let cook
    another 30 minutes with sauce. Baste often.
