    Salted Nut Roll Bars

    Mix together well:
    3 c. flour
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt


    Recipe



    Press into a large 12x17 jelly roll pan. Bake 10 min. at 375°. While this is baking, melt the following in a double boiler, or microwave:
    2 (6 oz.) packages butterscotch chips
    3 Tbsp. water
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. white corn syrup

    When melted, remove from heat and add 3 c. salted peanuts. Put this mixture on top of baked layer and return to oven and bake 8-10 min. more at 375°. Loosen edges while still warm, but allow to cool before cutting into bars.
