    Mom's Birthday Favorite Lemon Cake

    Gramy used to make this each year for my birthday. I still ask for it!

    List of Ingredients

    1 yellow cake mix
    1 small pkg. lemon jello
    3/4 c. cold water
    3/4 C. oil
    3 eggs
    2 T. lemon extract

    Glaze:
    1 C. xxx sugar
    2 T. boiling water
    2 T. lemon juice
    3 T. lemon rind

    Recipe

    Mix together cake mix and jello. Add remaining cake ingredients and blend well. Pour into greased 9x13 pyrex. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.

    Frosting:
    Mix all ingredients together and pour over hot cake.
