    These are rich and yummy! Great for Christmas!





    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 c. softened butter or marg.
    3/4 c. xxx sugar
    1 T vanilla
    1/2 t. salt
    3 c. flour
    1 12 oz. pkg. Nestle semi-sweet mini morsels
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    xxx sugar

    Recipe



    Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salt in large mixing bowl. Gradually add flour; stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Shape 1 t. into balls. Bake at 375 for 10 - 12 mins. Sift xxx sugar over cookies on baking sheet and let cool for 10 minutes. Transfer to wire rack and sprinkle with more xxx sugar if desired. Makes 5 dozen.
