    McKenna's Cranberry Sauce

    Recipe Introduction

    McKenna learned how to make this at school when she was in the second grade. She made it for us for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it!

    List of Ingredients

    1 lb. cranberries
    1 1/2 C. sugar
    2 t. orange rind
    4 t. water
    2 t. grated lemon rind
    3/4 C. orange juice
    4 t. cornstarch

    Recipe

    Combine cranberries, sugar, rinds and juice in saucepan and bring to boil at medium-high heat. Lower heat and simmer for about 4 minutes until cranberry skins pop. Remove from heat. Combine cornstarch and water; stir into cranberry mixture. Place over heat and boil until it thickens.
