    This recipe was in Peg Braken's column in Family Circle Magazine 4/1970


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 or 3 big potatoes
    • 1 medium onion
    • 2 cups diced ham
    • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • Ground black pepper to taste
    • Some type of shredded cheese


    Instructions


    1. Combine the can of soup with milk, add a good grind of pepper.
    2. Peel and slice potatoes and onion.
    3. Layer ham,onion, potatoes and sauce in an eight cup casserole. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and sprinkle with some kind of cheese, bake uncovered 20 minutes more.
