    Recipe Introduction


    This is a inexpensive, fast, tasty dish.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/4 cup margarine
    • 1 large onion, minced
    • 1 cup uncooked rice
    • 2-1/2 cups hot beef bouillon or broth
    • 1/2 lbs. franks, sliced


    Instructions


    1. Melt margarine in a large heavy saucepan.
    2. Add onion and saute until golden. Add rice and saute until translucent.
    3. Add bouillon and franks and bring to boil. Cover and simmer over low heat 20 to 25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
