    Sugar Cream Pie

    Not sure where this recipe came from but it sure is good.

    Recipe Introduction


    This is a must at Thanksgiving.

    List of Ingredients




    • ¾ cup granulated sugar
    • ¼ cup cornstarch
    • 1 pint half and half
    • ½ stick margarine
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1 pie crust -- pre-baked
    • 1 tablespoon melted butter
    • cinnamon

    Recipe



    1. Mix sugar and cornstarch thoroughly in saucepan. Add half & half, and margarine, and cook until it boils and becomes thick, stirring constantly.
    2. Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool for a few minutes and pour into a baked pie crust.
    3. Drizzle 1 tablespoon melted butter over top and sprinkle with cinnamon.
    4. Place under broiler until it bubbles up good, 1-2 minutes.
