Rosettes

Not sure where this recipe came from but it sure is good.
List of Ingredients
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup milk
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• Oil for deep-fat frying
• Confectioners’ sugar
Recipe
1. In a small mixing bowl, beat the eggs, milk, sugar and salt.
2. Add flour; beat until smooth.
3. In a deep-fat-fryer heat 2 ½ in. of oil to 375º.
4. Place rosette iron in hot oil for 30 seconds.
5. Blot iron on paper towels, then dip iron in batter to ¾ the way up the sides (do not let batter run over top of iron).
6. Immediately place in hot oil; loosen rosette with fork and remove iron.
7. Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
8. Remove to wire rack covered with paper towels. Repeat with remaining batter.
9. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
Yield: about 2 ½ dozen.
