    Orange Buttermilk Salad

    I found this recipe in one of my Taste of Home magazines.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, undrained
    • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) orange-flavored gelatin
    • 2 c. buttermilk
    • 1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping, thawed


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan,bring pineapple to a boil.
    2. Remove from the heat; add gelatin and stir to dissolve.
    3. Add buttermilk and mix well.
    4. Cool to room temperature.
    5. Fold in whipped topping.
    6. Pour into an 11-in.x 7-in.x 2-in. dish.
    7. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    8. Cut into squares.
    9. Yield: 12 servings.
