    Hot Fudge Sundae Cake

    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    2 T. baking cocoa
    2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 t. vegetable oil
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. baking cocoa
    1-3/4 c. hottest tap

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350�. In ungreased 9x9x2 pan stir together flour, granulated sugar, 2 T. cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with a fork until fairly smooth. Spread evenly in pan, Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 c. cocoa. Pour hot water over batter. Bake for 40 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes. Spoon into dessert bowls and top with ice cream, if desired.

    **There is really now way to test for "doneness" as this cake makes a rich fudge sauce as it bakes and remains "gooey".
