List of Ingredients
- 3 lbs. tomatoes
- 1 t. salt
- 2 T. sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 T. lemon juice per quart
Instructions
- Pour boiling water over tomatoes and peel.
- Put tomatoes in a kettle; add salt, sugar and water. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.
- Put lemon juice in hot quart jars; add tomatoes, leaving 1/2 inch headspace and seal.
- Process in a boiling water bath for 20 minutes.
