    List of Ingredients


    • 1 qt. whole milk
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 2 egg yolks, beaten
    • 2 c. sugar
    • 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
    • 2 T. flour
    • 2 (12 oz.) cans evaporated milk
    • 2 T. vanilla
    • milk


    Instructions


    1. In a heavy saucepan, combine the first six ingredients. Cook until thickened. Add evaporated milk; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and cool.
    2. Add vanilla.
    3. Pour into the cylinder of the ice cream freezer. Add enough milk to reach the fill line.
    4. Freeze according to freezer directions.
