    Unknown

    List of Ingredients

    • 6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    • 9 T. butter
    • 3 eggs
    • 1-1/4 c. sugar
    • 2-1/4 t. vanilla
    • 1/4 t. salt
    • 3/4 c. flour
    • 1 chocolate covered toffee candy bar (Heath)
    • 1-1/2 c. powdered sugar
    • 3 T. milk
    • 1 oz. white chocolate

    Instructions

    1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
    2. Chop unsweetened chocolate. Combine 6 T. butter and half the chopped chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Let melt and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
    3. Butter a 9" cake pan. At medium speed, beat eggs until frothy. Gradually add sugar. Increase speed to high and beat until thick and pale yellow, about 2 minutes. Reduce mixer speed to low and beat in 1-1/2 t. vanilla and salt. Beat in the melted chocolate mixture. With a spoon, stir in the flour. Pour into prepared pan and bake until brownie pulls away from sides and toothpick comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Invert onto a wire rack and cool.
    4. Chop candy bar.
    5. Combine remaining chocolate with 3 T. butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until smooth then remove from heat. With electric mixer on low speed, gradually beat powder sugar and 3/4 t. vanilla into melted chocolate. Beat in milk, one tablespoon at a time. Spread frosting over brownie sides and top. Sprinkle with candy bar pieces.
    6. Melt white chocolate over low heat. Stir until smooth. Dip tines of a fork into the chocolate and drizzle across the top of cake.
