    Recipe Introduction


    This is one of the recipes I still use from my high school cooking class. Great on angel food cake.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 egg white, unbeaten
    • 3/4 c. sugar
    • 1/4 t. cream of tartar
    • 1 t. vanilla
    • 1/4 c. boiling water


    Instructions


    1. Mix egg white, sugar, cream of tartar and vanilla in small deep bowl. Add boiling water. Beat to stiff peaks with electric mixer. Spread on cake.
