    Pecan Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
    • 1 c. light-color corn syrup
    • 2/3 c. sugar
    • 1/3 c. butter, melted
    • 1 t. vanilla
    • 1¼ c. chopped pecans
    • 1 (9 in.) unbaked pie crust


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350°.

    2. In a large bowl, combine eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in pecans.

    3. Pour filling into unbaked pie crust. To prevent over-browning, cover edge of pie with foil. Bake 25 minutes. Remove foil. Bake 20-25 minutes more or until filling is puffed and appears set.

    4. Cool on a wire rack. Cover and chill within 2 hours. Store in the refrigerator.
