    A Monkey Bread INTRODUCTION!

    A SCARLETT FAVORITE

    Recipe Introduction

There are many recipes for "Monkey Bread" and I promised some friends I would try and post a few.

    List of Ingredients

Last time I made Monkey Bread I just thawed some frozen store bought bread dough, tore off small pieces, rolled them in butter and cinnamon sugar, and baked it up in a bundt pan!
You can add nuts or not-depending on your likes.
Drizzle powdered sugar mixed with a little milk or water and to that add cinnamon and vanilla. You can also use biscuits or dinner rolls. This is something that can be changed again and again. I have a few more ideas that call for puddings and I will post them later.

The recipes are quick and easy--The one thing you want to remember is -- don't bake it according to biscuit/roll directions...monkey bread should be baked at 350 for about 20 to 25 minutes or according to the monkey bread recipe==otherwise you might get a soggy mess inside and a crispy (dare I say "well done") look on the outside. The baking time usually depends on how many tubes of biscuits/bread are called for and how many other ingredients are in the recipe. Just eyeball it when it comes out of the oven--give it a little push with your finger and if it springs back and looks done and you have followed the directions take it out of the oven.
Just have fun with it. Scarlett
