    DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP DREAM COOKIES

    Source of Recipe

    Nestle

    Recipe Introduction

I did not think anything could really top a Toll House chocolate chip cookie, but this comes pretty close! This is a Nestles recipe and the cookie is absolutely delicious, especially warm! I just discovered the recipe on the back of my 3 pound bag of Nestle Semi-Sweet Morsels this afternoon. Maybe it's been around for awhile, but this was my first time in seeing it. Thought I'd share!

    List of Ingredients

    Double-Chocolate Dream Cookies

    2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
    ½ cup baking cocoa
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    ½ teaspoon salt
    1 cup butter, softened
    1 cup packed brown sugar
    ¾ cup granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Combine flour, baking cocoa, baking soda, and salt in bowl and set aside. Beat butter brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs for about 2 minutes or until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies are puffed. (Be careful not to over-cook). Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
