3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c.butter
3 (1oz) squares unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
1 tsp.vanilla
2 cups flour
1c.chopped nuts
1/2 tsp.salt

Heat oven 350*. In large Bowl combine brown sugar & butter. Beat at medium speed until light & fluffy. Add melted chocolate & vanilla. Continue beating until well mixed. Add remaining ingredients (except powdered sugar) Continue beating until well mixed. Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inch apart on cookie sheets. Bake for 8 to 10 min. or until set. Cool 5 min. on cookie sheet. Carefully remove from sheet. Roll in powdered sugar. When cool roll again. Yield: 5 doz.
