    This can be assembled day before and then just reheated when you need it. Great served with lasagna

    List of Ingredients




    Italian Sausage and Peppers

    3 lbs. italian sausage links... cut into 3/4 inch slices
    4 medium green peppers cut into strips...
    1 medium onion sliced.
    1 tablespoon margarine
    1 tbslpoon olive oil
    3 tblspoons chicken broth
    6 plum tomatoes chopped
    1 tablespoon parsley
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

    Recipe





    In a dutch oven, cook the sausage over medium heat until no long pink; drain. Add the remaining ingredients. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. stirring and sampling. serve with slotted spoon.
