    Recipe Introduction


    Great appetizer, mom made at Christmas.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups shredded Chedar Cheese (8oz)
    • 2 oz Blue Vein Cheese
    • 2 Tbsp Butter (room temp)
    • 2 Tbsp Dry Sherry
    • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
    • 1/4 tsp hot mustard (Dijon works)
    • 1 Tbsp finely chopped herbs (like herbs of Provence)
    • Of course crackers to serve with the potted cheese!


    Instructions


    1. Place the cheeses in a bowl (make sure Blue Cheese is crumbled) and mix well with a fork.
    2. Add butter and continue to blend the cheeses and butter.
    3. Beat in the port, worestershire sauce, mustard and herbs.
    4. Place mixture in a bowl (pottery works best).
    5. Cover and refridgerate at least 24 hours.
    6. Bring to room temp prior to serving.


    Final Comments


    Serve with crackers.
