    Recipe Introduction

One of my favorite casseroles mom made - taste like a baked Sloppy Joe!

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 medium onion (diced)
    • 1 lb lean ground beef
    • 1 can (16oz) sloppy joe sauce
    • 2 can (10.1 oz each) Pillsbury refrigerated Big and Buttery Crescent dinner rolls
    • 2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese
    • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

    Instructions

    1. Preheat your oven to 350.
    2. In a 10 inch skillet with a little oil fry your chopped onion. Add the 1lb of ground beef and cook until brown. Stir Occasionally.
    3. Drain off fat
    4. Add the can of Sloppy Joe sauce and stir in over medium heat.
    5. Unroll 1 can of the dough. Place in an ungreased 13X9 (3qt) glass baking dish. Press in the botton to cover and slightly up the sides of the dish.
    6. Spread beef mixture over the dough.
    7. Sprinkle evenly with cheese
    8. Unroll the second can of dough and place over the cheese, filling in the holes to make a top.
    9. Sprinkle top with sesame seeds
    10. Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until mixture is bubbling and the dough is a nice golden brown.
    11. Cut into squares and serve hot.
