    List of Ingredients


    • DOUGH
    • 3/4 cup melted butter
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 cups oatmeal
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • tsp vanilla
    • FILLING
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 2 Tbsp water
    • 1 cup chopped dates
    • 3 1/2 cups chopped apricots


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350
    2. Mix together the sugar, oatmeal, flour, Baking Powder and Baking soda.
    3. Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
    4. Hand stir the fruits, brown sugar and water.
    5. Take a baking pan and line the bottom with the dough mixture. Use about 3/4 of the dough mixture for bottom.
    6. Pour the filling over the dough and even out.
    7. Use the remaining 1/4 of dough mixture for the top.
    8. Bake - Grandma Minnie does not say how long - just BAKE ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
      I guess you will just have to watch it!
