List of Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
1 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 teaspoons vanilla
¾ teaspoon salt



Recipe

In a large bowl, cream Crisco, oil and vanilla, mix well.
Add eggs and both sugars mix well.
Add soda and salt and gradually flour, beat well.
Roll in balls and roll the balls in granulated sugar.
Place balls on cookies sheet and flatten slightly with a glass bottom dipped in sugar.
Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
