    Cherry Frosting

    Aunt Saunny

    Ingredients:
    3 c Powdered sugar
    1/3 c Margarine or butter, softene
    1 1/2 ts Vanilla
    2 tb Milk (about)
    2 tb Drained, chopped
    Maraschino cherries
    2 dr Red food color

    Instructions:
    Mix powdered sugar and margarine. Stir in vanilla, milk, cherries and food color. Beat until smooth and of spreading consistency. Frosts a 13 X 9 inch cake or fills and frosts two 8- or 9-inch cake layers.
