Tropical Cake Squares

1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 package (8ounce size) Orange jello, or 2 (4oz.) size
2 cups cold pineapple orange juice or orange juice
1 (12ounce) package pound cake, cut into 10-12 slices
1 package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup of sugar
1 tub (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
2 cans (15 1/4 ounces each) fruit cocktail, drained
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water stirring for 2 minutes until dissolved. Stir in cold juice. Refrigerate for 1 1/2 hours or until thickened. Meanwhile, line a 13 x 9 pan with pound cake slices, filling any holes with cake. Beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spread evenly over crust. Top with fruit. Spoon thickened jello over cream cheese and fruit. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
