    1/2 c. ground beef
    1/3 c. shredded cheese
    10 refrigerator biscuits
    seasonings to taste: cayenne
    pepper, oregano or lemon
    pepper

    Brown ground beef in a small skillet. Drain off excess
    fat. Add seasonings; simmer 5 minutes. Add cheese; set
    aside. Press each biscuit to form a 4-inch square. Spread 1
    tablespoon of beef mixture down middle of each square. Bring 1 side of biscuit over filling; fold other edge on top. Careful- ly lift onto ungreased cookie sheet, making sure to put the seam-side down. You may want to cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Shape biscuit to form a bear claw (crescent
    shape) with scissors, make 3 cuts halfway through dough along outer curve. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
