    Crusty Beef Cheese and Noodle Casserole

    Ready in: 1 hour 20 minutes
    Servings: 8 - 10
    2 tbsp. oil
    1 onion, chopped
    2 lbs. ground beef
    5 cups spaghetti sauce, meatless or mushroom
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. fine noodles, cooked and drained
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

    Heat oil; add onion and cook until golden.
    Add meat and cook, stirring, until it loses its red color.
    Add sauce and salt; heat through. In a 3 quart casserole layer half of the cooked noodles, and half sauce, then half the cheese. Make a second layer of noodles, sauce and cheese. Bake in preheated 325o oven for close to 1 hour; top should be nicely browned.
