    2 cans of oysters
    2 cups milk
    2 sleeves crackers

    1/2 stick margarineDrain liquid from oysters and mix liquid with milk. Season cream mixture with salt and pepper to taste; bring to a boil. Butter an 8" x 12" glass dish.

    Crumble a layer of crackers in bottom of dish. Add a layer of oysters; pour 1/3 of milk mixture over them. Dot with margarine; repeat layering with crackers, oysters, and milk mixture, to make three layers. Sprinkle with finely crushed crackers. Press center; liquid should ooze up. If it does not, add a little more milk.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve while hot.
