    Potato Chip Cookies

    Aunt Saunny

    1 C. butter or margarine
    1/2 C. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 C. crushed potato chips
    1/2 C. chopped nuts
    2 1/4 C. flour
    Maraschino cherries cut into fourths, for decoration

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla, chips, nuts and flour and
    mix well. Roll dough into balls. Press flat with fingers or fork on
    greased cookie sheets. Place small piece of maraschino cherry in center
    of cookie. Bake 15-20 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
