    Reese's Peanut Butter Blossoms

    1/2 cup shortening
    3/4 cup reese's peanut butter
    1/3 cup granulated sugar
    1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    granulated sugar
    1 3/4 cups (10oz package)Hershey's mini kisses milk chocolate baking
    pieces

    Heat oven to 375 F. Beat shortening and peanut butter until blended. Add 1/3cup granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture. Beat well. Shape dough into 1in balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned; press 3 mini
    kisses on each cookie. Remove to wire rack. Cool. About 4 doz.
