    Cheese last longer if you do not store it in plastic. Store it in aluminum foil. Shredded Cheese you buy at the store contains wax to prevent it from sticking together. It is cheaper to buy cheese and shred it yourself. Cheese that you shred yourself has more flavor than store bought shredded cheese.
