    1. Marinate shrimp in a locking-type storage bag. Just flip the bag over often and seal in the aromas of the marinade.

    2. Shrimp is done when it turns completely pink. If the tails curl too much it is overcooked and tough.

    3. When skewering shrimp and vegetables for grilling or broiling, choose bright-colored vegetables for a great presentation.

    4. Shrimp “deveiners” are available at many kitchen specialty shops. This makes the job much easier and helps keep the shrimp intact when deveining.
