    Aunt Saunny

    1. Refrigerate turkey no more than an hour after serving. Follow all rules of poultry safety.

    2. Slice, cube, and shred turkey you will need for different dishes and store in airtight bags.

    3. Have menus planned so you will have time to enjoy the long holiday weekend.

    4. After removing meat from the turkey, throw the carcass in a large stock pot with onions, celery, carrots, and parsley, and freeze the strained stock for a great soup base.
