    Baby Shower Spinach Dip

    1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach
    1 1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. mayonnaise
    8 oz. can water chestnuts, chopped (optional)
    3 chopped green onions (optional)

    Thaw and squeeze spinach until very dry. Stir together spinach, sour cream and mayonnaise. Add water chestnuts and onions if wanted. Blend well. Refrigerate 2 hours. Stir before serving. Scoop out a round pumpernickel loaf and put the dip inside using the pieces of bread as "dippers". Good with all crackers too.
