2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 small green bell peppers, diced
1 medium onion, diced
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon pepper
2 to10 drops of tobasco sauce
Bring all ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until thickened.
Yield: 5 cups
