    Sweet spiced walnuts

    Aunt Saunny

    1 egg white
    5 cups walnut halves or pieces
    1 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

    1. Grease a 15x10x1-inch baking pan; set aside. Combine egg white and
    1 teaspoon water. Add nuts; toss to coat. Combine sugar, cinnamon,
    nutmeg, allspice, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Sprinkle sugar mixture over
    nuts; toss to coat.

    2. Spread the walnuts in the prepared pan. Bake in a 325 oven for 20
    minutes. Spread on a piece of waxed paper; cool. Break into pieces.
    Store in an airtight container.
